Nothing wrong with adding a touch of romance to swinging It needn't be heavy handed declarations of love...but why not a beautiful piece of poetry, an evening out being wined and dined, dress up and give her a beautiful flower, a kiss in the shadows in some wonderfully romantic setting?

I know some couples would run a mile from such ideas...but surely we're all adults and as long as we agree that it's all just a bit of role play fun why shouldn't we be able to be a bit more French with our fun rather than the usual British seaside postcard slap and tickle... add a little bit of romantic je ne sais quoi to our meets

Something rather lovely has come my way through fab. A very special and deep friendship which over a period of time has developed into what I would call a delightful romance. I don't think either of us expected it....or indeed initially were looking for it but we kind of fill in the gaps that exist in our everyday lives for each other. The future is an unknown land for us all so we take each day we have together as a gift. In fact, recently, we did something very romantic and personal which will leave a permanent reminder of the close times we have spent in a place very dear to us. Romance is wonderful.....with the right person.......

I think it's often forgotten that people come to this site for different reasons, and looking for different things.

Yes, we know it's a swinging site, supposedly about NSA sex, but you only have to read the forums and peoples' profiles, and a slightly different picture emerges. Besides the genuine swingers indulging in NSA sex, there are others looking for something a little different, or more than just the basics.

Then there's the issue of emotions; many run a mile at just the thought, while for others, emotional involvement means more fulfilling sex.

While some sneer at talk of romance, for others it's the icing on the cake of fun, liberating, and even kinky sex.

So yes, romance can certainly be found on Fab!

It's very special when you create memories with a person like that. We did that not so long ago, and it was a beautiful time that neither of us will forget. Some good memories and some sad memories, but only us that will ever know what that time meant to each other.

I had a very intense relationship with someone I met off fab, the relationship didn't last but the friendship and the steamy sex sessions did and I still see him every week (luckily he lives up the road)

It was the trust issues that killed it for us and sometimes the intensity of the relationship gives misguided feelings for the other.
