The chocolate tree is apparently really called a cacao tree. The fruit tasted a bit like chocolate fruit.

Can I have a few?

In Ashdown Forest there is a small group of horse chestnuts, all very mature and they look absolutely beautiful, some hot days cows lay under them and the peace is tangible.

There is also a line of trees and I'm not sure what they are but they're mature too and they make a space like a cathedral underneath them.

Ooh London Plane, Copper Beech, and glorious Acers. But I love all those wonderful old Cedars and others you get in Victorian gardens - I just love huge old trees, Arboretums are glorious places!!

I'm old school. Love a gnarly old oak tree. Had a den inside the branches of a weeping willow when I was a kid and an apple tree I used to sit in and read as well. Arbutus, magnolia and Japanese maples are stunning too.

I haven't met a tree yet I didn't like. I may be part dryad.

love trees - used to cycle to Dunham park when i was younger and sit under a huge oak tree for hours with a book - so peaceful - now my fave tree is 'our tree' in the local park - even has a hook for my bag

Copper Beech is my absolute favourite. There is a fantastic one, near where I live.

My Mum always said when we were small, that where trees meet across a road, that's where the fairies live. So for that reason I love an avenue of mature trees that meet in the middle.
