So, today I was sat outside Derby Cathedral, which has a big mahoosive clock on all four faces of the tower.

I was enjoying a few rays of sun on a bench and asked a random stranger what the time was.

It took about 14 minutes before someone pointed out to me that there was a clock within view (someone even told me in Lithuanian)

What do you do to have a laugh when you are bored?

A strip of cellotape across the kids bedroom door at head height. Sit back and watch them walk straight into it. Gets them every time.

When I was at school, our History teacher was quite perplexed when the entire class (all 23 of us) were late and decided to walk over an imaginary 18" high wall before taking our seats and behaving as if nothing had happened
