I looked at the weather and thought... Ya know what I'm sunbathing! Ring Ring... Hi Boss, my nans gone into hospital this morning she might be having her ear removed and my mum is inconsolable. Wow don't you worry make sure she is OK today and I'll see you tomorrow buddy!

I'm one of the hardest workers in there, I really work hard for my money lol..

Honestly my poor nan has died 5 times, eyes removed she is like the bionic women... Haha unfortunately she passed away before I was born which means it's only white lies..

I think she would be happy knowing she helps me out lol..

Im lucky i simply phone in ask if boss really needs me in if not i could do with it off but work anything from 5 - 7 days a week and 10 - 14 hours a day so i do my fair share

i have s stomach infection and i know its doing the rounds and i don't want my colleagues getting it

so i decided to work from home instead as lucky its all financial reports and shit

I can honestly say that in the last 5 years of working I have never had a say on the sick. I know some people that take the 4 weeks thry are entitled to. Each to there own.

In the public sector, we can get sacked for taking more than 'reasonable' sick days off.

One of the questions HR ask on a return to work interview is "do you envisage more time off with the same complaint?"

My colleagues with cancer and mental health issues particularly love that one.
