Hi all,

90% of all first meets are"do you want to go for coffee". Is this a human failsafe location or am I the only person who's not a coffee drinker?

Any suggestions on good 1st meet locations or is it keep taking the hot chocolate?

A social meet is always a good idea. You can find someone aesthetically pleasing but find them as dull as dishwater personality wise when you meet in person. For me it's 25% aesthetics and 75% mental so a social is a good 'no pressure' way of deciding if I'm truly interested in getting jiggy wid it!

That's the idea but coffee is such a boring suggestion. Was seeing if any other ideas

It's hard to discuss the finer points of anal sex while bungee jumping!

We usually meet in a pub as we tend to meet evenings and weekends.

We also tend to go for social meets in a pub, a glass of wine or a beer can help a nervous couple relax..... much more than a coffee

Is it just me or do all wetherspoons have a d*unk in residence or lead d*unk? Depending on the time of day of course!

Maybe suggest something different, I love rock climbing, though I'm yet to find a meet brave enough to join me!

Duo bungee jump too extreme for you all?

Library? Too boring. Park? Could be risky. Dinner? Expensive... Coffee is just easy, cheap, and safe.

Swimming pool. You get to see all the varicose veins, wobbly bits, hairy spots and if you still want hanky panky with them you're either desperate or you actually like them.

Lots of places but my favourites are lunch in a nice café or a meal or a drink in a country pub or dinner in a nice restaurant or wine and tapas....or cocktails

Hell... loads of things really

find somewhere that has a beautiful garden, a park, a beach, a stroll along the seafront. You could take drinks of choice and chat amiably. Imagination

Titz Towers, North Notts

I suggest either meeting at a club or in a friendly pub. It all depends on the nature of the meet. A lot more guys seem to want to meet me in a layby in the back of beyond than wish to be seen having a drink with me in a TG friendly pub.
