Just seen a great story as to why cyclist shave there legs

1 for aero dynamics

2 for hygiene easy to clean road rash

3 to show off there diamond cut calfs!

Specialised bike company put the aero theory to the test in a wind tunnel and proved that over 40km a pro rider can save up to 1 and a half minutes and a normal cyclist over the same distance can save 50 seconds so there is a good excuse for us cyclist to shave our legs
