Eating out around Blackpool

After spending this last weekend in Blackpool at Buddies, we found it difficult to find a decent cafe, it's a bit hit and miss I guess being so many of them.

We plan to visit again, so has anyone any advice on where to eat?

Looking for advice on a reasonable priced cafe, a very nice quality cafe, and also a restaurant, chinese, indian, italian, british etc etc..

do NOT eat out on the beach, sand gets everywhere and is difficult to wash out

if you wanna eat well , stay away from the sea front and go back into the town towards the shops etc .

Prom is all greasy cafes and burgers ...

Better stilll drive to Lytham and there are a few quality restauranst ofd all types ( indian , chinese etc)

Merseyside

Yates is near the beachfront and isn't a bad place for a meal.

Other than that, Blackpool is a "fish and chips" kinda place.

KFC etc. is on the main street.

southend

Not somewhere to eat, although they do food, but you have to pre-order.

But FuunyGirls is a fantastic night out, if you can tear yourselves away from Buddies!!! I went recently, and only went to FunnyGirls, because my sister was with me. (Would rather have been in Buddies). But its a cracking night out.
