If you cook spinach with onions and butter it's really nice too. And pieces of mackerel in there makes it even better. I go through phases where I live off that lol

Why not. Always good to experiment. I love the green colour the spinach gives it. Makes it look very exotic and slightly scary

Bloody Mary without the booze and celery juice rather than celery salt is a favourite here. Tangy and yummy!

I like my spinach raw - a bed of that and watercress with a seared scallop and sweet chilli dressing (and a dollop of creme fraiche if I'm feeling naughty).

I'm doing 5:2 and spinach is the main part of my dinner on a fast day as you can have a whole bag. Usually have it with mushrooms and a small piece of fish.

It's a cross between plain yoghurt and clotted cream taste and texture wise. The 'fraiche' bit always makes it sound healthier!

I love healthy food - but why do health smoothies always look like green swamp water with frog spawn thrown in? I don't think they look appealing at all - I'm sure they taste nice but I think I'd have to be blindfolded to drink one

I use it for home made carbanora sauce and also add SWEETNER to it for something to go with strawberries or peaches

We do that with prawns and have it with dhal and rice. Yum.

Spinach is easy to grow too. We're enjoying all the stuff coming out of the ground fresh right now.

Spinach is apparently high in magnesium and helps to dilate blood vessels which aids cock hardness. Also along with kale (a dark green leafy curly cabbage/ lettuce like vegetable), broccoli etc., it is high in folate, which is also good for sexual health. Celery is a good source of l'arginine which is supposedly good for semen production and blood flow.

I'm making it with onions along with beetroot leaves and a few small potatoes. Seasoning and then just letting it simmer away for a couple of hours before blending it all.

I only use that as a base - when I use it I'll add extra water along with whatever herbs/spices and maybe some blue cheese, yogurt etc.

I rage on spinach. The great thing is you can put it pretty much everything.

I have it fresh with tomato on toast with either scrambled or poached eggs; put it in soups and smoothies and literally anything I cook with a sauce - Italian, Indian - everything!

Popeye was onto something, for sure.
