I saw a lovely 2.8i on the road yesterday and left me wanting a Capri again. I had 2 including a 2.0GT... lovely car, unless it rained, after which I spent half the time going sideways!!!

Juts looked on Autotrader and they are on there for £6-16K... my dream is over

What car from your youth would you like to own again?

My dad had one of those. The green stripe reminded me of a Starsky and Hutch thing. It was so cool when he picked me up from school!

I had a 3.0 litre Capri many years ago. Before I replaced the old silencer it sounded like a Spitfire starting up!

I've always wanted to drive an old mini.

Not a new, old mini, but an old, old mini.

Don't think i'd want to keep it though...

Oh and my Dad had a TR4A that I lusted after. He would never let me drive it until after he met my step-mum and she said she wanted to go on a motorbike so he had to swap for the day.

Which just proves, I suppose that most blokes think with their cock lol.

Brothers mate had a mini with an allegro engine. Think it was quite a common conversion.
