Had a roast at the cafe yesterday, £5 with a drink, by the time I've paid for my meat etc and cooked it I've spent more than £5 so I just get it from the cafe.

Today I'll make chicken wraps again I think.

My aunt has a friend who always turns up at dinner time he just has a knack of ringing the bell at serving time. He always leaves 5 mins after he finishes

I bought for my first time last week a reduced in price, neck of lamb. I added salt and pepper and roasted it...still slabbering at how amazing it was!

I shall be making a roast chicken dinner complete with broccoli, carrots, swede, cauliflower cheese, roasted parsnips, spuds and Yorkshire puds. My family never agree on veg so have to make something for everyone lol. I may even push the boat out and make cocktail sausages too along with the 3 different types of gravy I have to make to please everyone haha

No, I have a sweet tooth but as you know by the time you finish cooking and eating African food, there is no energy to cook a dessert, let alone eat it. Don't blame yourself for not being able to cook like your Gran, I can't cook like my mother or gran too.
