Correct? I've no doubt it is.

Presumably, you also lose a days pension payment on the 10th July each and every year?

Anyone confirm this?

in Lancashire

some employers will post dispute allow staff to make extra payments deducted from salary to make up the pension contribution shortfall..

Also adds days on to when you can retire, every strike day = another day extra to work before retirement

Generally, pension entitlements are not worked out to the nearest day. They are normally calculated based on your pay interval. So if you get paid weekly (and I get paid VERY weekly) then one day off doesn't effect the number of weeks you've worked... but then again, neither does working the weekend.

Lose a days pay so it's a smaller amount to calculate your pension on.

People need to wake up. It's NOT your pension you need to protect. It's the NOW.

Reading the posts above government and business have people running scared.

Nothing more than robots and slave , cradle to grave.
