Does money prove safety?

So today I was questioned on why I would need a social meet first, why couldn't I go straight to theirs when they lived in a million pound penthouse.

Made me wonder, are people less wary if a person is a professional homeowner in an affluent area?

I of course didn't care if they lived in a penthouse or a cardboard box, for my own safety I always insist on a social first.

Brighton - even Hove!

If a person thought I'd be impressed by them flashing their cash I'd make a point of proving them wrong.

No, it guarantees nothing more than it may be safer to park your car and return to and it be there...

Note... May

Surely the hallmark of a good meet is a happy meet, so if someone wants a social hook up first then that is totally fine! be wary of anyone bragging about a penthouse and insensitive to a sensible request!

Depends how much fear you have

It has been known for some of the very wealthy to think they are above the law and untouchable, protected by their money and status. I think there's been a few court cases lately where this was the case.

Is the "penthouse" to top flat on an estate? They are worth over a £1m here in London.

Of course it doesn't equate to safety, either physical or psychological.

I know people meet without socials first, that works for them and that's great. I've had a couple of scary experiences so I'm cautious.

I couldn't help picture Patrick Bates when he said that lol

I didn't realise wealthy people were renowned as never committing crimes or endangering peoples lives.

It's moronic that such said people think because they are wealthy that all rules go out the window.

a "friend" of mine was very snooty indeed and when she came to my house once prepared herself to leave by getting her car keys and holding them between her fingers so she could use them as a weapon . Now we lived in quite an ordinary, normal residential area at the time but it was near a (speak it low) "council estate" the horror!!. I told her we weren't living in Beirut and to get a bloody grip

There is an advantage to living in a penthouse though.

Whenever i accomodate i tell them the lifts are broken. If they're fit enough to walk up 12 flights of stairs then they're fit enough to fuck all night.

You are totally right, it's never 100% safe! But usually those who are willing to go along with a social will be more respectful.

And it's not just to gauge their sanity, I have to click with someone, so it's a good way to see if that happens.

I had a close call when I first started out, I went to a meets house, he was nothing like his picture and things got nasty when I said I was going home. So now I like to meet for a drink or a coffee before making any arrangements for kinky fucker

They aren't necessarily millionaires. One of my regular men owns a property in West London which is worth a lot of money. He isn't skint obviously but he doesn't have millions in the bank

I play things by ear. If pressured by someone I usually lose interest in them. Id perhaps feel safer if in the queens palace, but otherwise a nutter can be rich or poor. Arrogance is usually repulsive, including arrogance about wealth.

"Apparently Fab is supposed to be fun without the bull.

"

's funny how it's usually the ones with no veris by meeting that say that.

That anyone could fail to understand wanting to meet someone before being alone with them amazes me. As does that anyone would seek to deny a potential sexual partner the opportunity to feel a bit more secure, when all it requires is a quick coffee!

Anyone with that little regard for my feelings can whistle for a meet.

No social, no meet, no further discussion.

I can never understand why people lie about things that can be dis-proven (is that a word?).

I could claim i've climbed Mount Snowdon and no one could prove me wrong.

But if i claimed to be a millionaire penthouse owner and i met someone at my modest council house i'm confident my lie would be undone!!

Why can't people just be true to themselves - or at least true to potential meets!!
