"So I'm watching a programme about revamping vintage clothing...What is you oldest piece of clothing and what memories does it bring back when you look at it?? I don't own any vintage clothing but I do love it...however I remember my mum wearing flares and a head scarf when I was younger and I really love that look even now.. I'm watching this to chops, I love it! I also love vintage and re-vamping...massive passion of mine!! I do have a few little numbers that where my mothers... Gorgeous cocktail dresses two to be precise.... She wore them when she was perhaps in her late 30,s early forties... Making them 40+ years old. " Get yourself to your local clothes event - free clothes you can then revamp however you like.

"I know it isn't quite what you were looking for. The oldest piece of clothing is my Time cycling shoes, they are 20 years old and are finally starting to fall apart. The memories are of cycling incidents obviously, nearly catching my minute man on a 10 mile time trial and falling off on a corner due to wanting to catch him so badly. Doing 52 mph downhill on the road to appley bridge, nice piece of road except for the blind bend at the top. Completing the Liverpool to Scarborough 'fun' ride in under 11 hours. " I've got a couple of old cycling tops that are 20+ years old. I know when I'm fit - they fit me!

"[Removed by poster at 02/07/14 22:53:35]" I play by my own rules! Because that's the kind of freewheeling rock & roll, living the dream kinda attitude I have haha I've made up other words before though. For example, you know when snow melts and it gets all brown and dirty? I call it snirt, because it is a hybrid of snow and dirt.... See what I did there lol x

"PWEI original 'Sample it, Loop it, Fuck it and Eat it' Pepsi logo t-shirt and baggy shorts, from August 7th 1990- the night they opened The Institute venue in Digbeth, Birmingham.....They were of course fooking awesome as usual I was there, as I recall there were serious concerns that the floor would collapse! No longer have that short though, it's one of many my mother binned! A Wonder Stuff tour t-shirt from 1988. I rarely wear it. crystal was 3 when that tour happened... Fairly sure i used to have the Eight Legged Groove Machine or Groovers on Manoeuvers shirt from the 89 tour (Neds & Jesus Jones support IIRC)....so many shirts, such shite memory! Wish i'd taken better care of them Groovers on Manouvres was 88. 89 was the Disco King Tour in march (Jesus Jones supported) and HUP tour with ned's and I think Sandkings or Eat in Autumn and Hometown Hoedown in December. I may also have an anorak from this era..." Was definitely Neds supporting the first time i saw them- had a conversation with the bloke stood next to me about them having two bass players. I definitely had a Disco King t-shirt and went to the Hometown Hoedown, Big day out and even a ticket for the warm up Secret Affair at Junction 10- fookin rammed it was
