Not meeting but still on Fabs!!

Over the last 6 months i've made no real attempt at meeting anyone, I suppose i grew a bit bored plus personal situations, but im still on here as i believe this site is addictive even for non swingers, it's like a hidden society where everything is open! you could never imagine being this open to people in your day to day job, I suppose it allows my to have a sense of freedom and express my inner thoughts, just curious does anyone feel the same?? or am i just talking shit again lol!!

I don't see the harm in hanging around in here even if you aren't meeting any more as long as that's clear and you don't lead anyone on. Like you say you couldn't talk about this stuff with non fab folk (for the most part) lol x

Until Fab starts throwing people out of the site who haven't had a meeting verification in 3 month the site is open to all and free to use as you choose. Your use case makes a lot of sense my dear.

I use it for the hamburger shots.

I often just use the forums ( addictive yep I d say so,) surprising how many others read them without posting in here,,

I use the site as and how I wish, others will use it in their way,

I think we all stop meeting at some point for one reason or another but I don't think we should have to leave because of it, as swinging is quite a sociable activity we should still be able to chat or message friends and be able to use the forum, at the end if the day it is your profile and you use it how you wish

Exactly, you would think. Most people would agree wouldn't you? But I still get the odd unsolicited message telling me what a time waster I am!

There are times when I can't meet because of other things going on I'm my life, but I still like to check in and see what's going on. Having spent a large part of my life feeling abnormal or like a pervert, this site makes me feel normal, I know I'm not alone in my addiction to sex. So yes

I don't think it matters whether your meeting ir not. I had not meeting on my profile until yesterday. People still ask for meets. Maybe, just maybe people aren't reading profiles.

You use the site , within rules, how you see fit x

I find it odd when people aren't meeting but still have things selected in their 'looking for' list- so they still show up on searches. And then complain when people mail them. But if that makes them happy.......

I think as long as you use the site within the rules and make it clear you're not meeting, you can use the site as you wish. You don't sign a contract to say you will have x amount of meets per week!! This site was a life saver when I was laid up in hospital as I chatted to people, used the forums and kept myself occupied as I hate daytime TV! Life sometimes dictates that we can't meet but doesn't mean we are not allowed to be active on here. I had a few snotty replies asking why the hell I was on here if I wasn't meeting. It was clear on my profile so all they had to do was move on, I wasn't inconveniencing them. There are many people on here who don't want to meet but make out they do, that's wrong but life on here.

My post was about people that do complain about getting mail yet don't take themselves off searches etc x

Like many others who use this site, I have times when I am not meeting so hide my profile. I still read and comment on the forums, still chat to friends here ...... I've made a few over the years I wouldn't want to lose contact with.

Use the site in whatever way it suits you personally OP and ignore or report the abusive messages, admin don't like those who send abuse. xx

I'm not actively doing anything other than trawling the forum's and enjoying light conversation.

I'll always reply to a message should I receive one but as others have outlined I don't believe anyone should justify why they are here, if they are being respectful of others and their desire to be here too.
