So I get a wink from cpl who live quite close to me,

So I drop them a message saying thanks for the wink and what are they after...they say read out profile we are after a bi male

I reply sayin I'm not bi

Then I get blocked lol

Alot of guys who label as straight on fab do play bi, otherwise they may have made a simple mistake. Youve probably spent more time forum posting about it than it took your effort, so just take all blocks and rejections as part of the road to success and move on.

People are strange, it makes life more interesting and amusing

I had a very similar thing happen. Message from a couple who's profile states that they are only interested in slim ladies between certain sizes. I messaged to say thanks for contacting me but I don't meet their preference as I'm a fatty. Then they blocked me.

I laughed about it, messaged the other half so he could laugh about it too and then moved on

Blocking people who you are not interested in and/ or who dont fit in with what yr looking for seems perfectly logical and makes sense..

life is short, pointless chasing something that wont reciprocate and vice versa...

Sounds like selfish people to me x they can't find a bi man so are just fishing amongst the men.

Could it be that a lot of people use the block feature to avoid perusing the profiles of and sending messages to people with whom they have already tried and failed to connect?

Some contact sites offer a "hide" mode which simply stops a profile showing up in your search results, and some offer a nice clear notice visible in the front page of their profile to make it clear you've been there before. Perhaps on Fab the block button is the memory aid of choice.

Or, yeah, some people might just be weird.
