Could be i'm just having a shit day as the weathers pants down here.. but does anyone else suddenly lose the excitement about going away just before your due to go away?

Yes I know what you mean. The hassle of getting organised can be stressful . Best to relax and think in x days /weeks you will be there relaxed and chilled.

Im not even leaving the country.. that would be a nightmare holiday for me and id never be able to relax

Nope but I have serious post holiday blues. Got back from a gorgeous sunny week in Northumberland yesterday, enjoyed a week of sunshine with my hubby & dog..planning next break to make us feel better
