What did it fail on? Sometimes try can be pretty minor they could be easily fixed

Black Circles for the tyres and carparts4less for the TRE's and brake parts, surprising it's all fairly cheap and with the exception of the tyres, stuff you could probably manage yourself.

Honda civic. Tbh it's been an awesome car. 2001 reg had it 11years 150k on clock and first time it's failed. So can't complain. Hopefully we can get another year out of it before having to say farewell.

Track rod ends are cheap enough, obv you'll need to get tracking done properly after replacement, brake shoes or pads are cheap enough, calipers normally last forever, but might need freeing off and cleaning up - if leakage, seals are cheap and replacing is not hard. Tyres wear out.

I get part worn tyres, a fraction of the cost, don't last as long, but if you get a deflation at speed which wrecks the tyre, it's not so painful to replace.

For the Jeep, I got 2 used calipers and pistons for around £25 each - eventually, I'll replace the seals and pistons on my old ones, but the 2nd hand ones work fine.

tbh, these are all parts that have a finite life and wear out.
