We have just taken delivery of our new car and with only 11 miles on the clock Zoe very nearly ran into another car head on in Morrisons carpark.

The question is how big of a fall out did we have about it afterwards lol.

That's the only down side about getting a new car, the feeling of trepidation and plain fear when parking it in a supermarket carpark.

The first little scratch or mark is heartbreaking, after that it all seems downhill.

Yeah but I'm dead anal with it - park away from anyone else - no where near 'scratters' - will shed tears when she gets her first dint or sratch - now sad is that! Z

Not sad at all. Having had mine for 12 months elsewhere, i then acquired 5 seperate dints/scrathes ( biggish ) within 2 months of coming here, none of which were my fault. Bastards.

And like you, i try park well away from everyone else and walk to the supermarket. Isn't there always some **at who parks next to you.

Its back for a respray in the morning. I blamed the delivery truck

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

We had a delivery of 5 4x4 Mitsubshi`s at work for the foremen. Everyone drove REALLY carefully in fear of being the first to damage "their" one. It was a huge sigh of relief from the rest and no small amount of mickey taking when my foreman was the first to damage one. He caught the handbrake with his lunch bag and partially released it, the van rolling down a slight slope into a gate post while we were inside having a break!

11 miles when they got it new, not when they started off to the supermarket!
