of lightning and one clap of thunder and all hell broke loose .... two cats out of their skin and going in opposite directions ... changed their minds and collided with each other ... and the house alarm going mental as it goes off through a power surge ... and that was it ... some storm that was it!!!! I love a good storm but can't seem to get one for love nor money these days normality has resumed

yes I kmow what you meen I just love a really good storm!

I have been right on the middle of a few good ones in the past.

I was in a typhoon whilst on a ship once now thats a strom to witness LoL and was in the Phillipines when mount pinatubo decided to cough about 85,000 feet into the air

Nature can be a wonderful thing but also can be a frightening thing sometimes.

Being in and around lightneing can make you feel so alive but one wrong strike and it's good night to the folks LoL

If you put a surge protector on the power supply that powers your alarm that may not happen.

Sounds like a great time was had hehe .I love a good storm but we only seem to get them in the middle of the night lately ....I like them just as I'm off to sleep Windows and curtains open so I can watch

Just got back from France, there was a storm on Tuesday night, lasted nearly 6 hours . In a tent watching it lightening, have to say it was brilliant, at one time the lightening was striking every 2 or 3 seconds, for about ten minutes

Beware what you wish for!

As a result of a recent storm, router and all phones knackered, as was the main phone socket. So a visit from BT to sort the socket, new router from BT, free, and all new phones from Argos. Certainly could do without that sort of storm, thank you.
