do you think there is a big proportion of people in the lifestyle out there who don't use the net and randomly meet or go to clubs?

I should imagine that there are those who have a close circle of friends whom they meet regularly and have no desire to increase that circle. They will probably all have each other's phone numbers thus negating the need to converse via the interweb.

Probably still got a stack of Rendezvous magazines in their bedside drawers
