I know fish is expensive ... but !!!!

Got our online shopping from ASDA last night - great, saved having to fight our way through the shop straight after work.

They had a special offer of 2 slices of fresh salmon for £4.00 - 2 for the price of one, nice !

Only when we checked the printout that come with the shopping, they've charged us £95.76 for the salmon !!!

Phoned them and they say that there's been a 'mistake' and they'll refund the difference and it'll reach our bank account in 4-5 working days

I said, "No, I'll be at the store and you'll have 100 quid cash for me to collect"

How many people would take the time to check their "online" shopping bill? If you hadn't they would have been laughing all the way to the bank!!

Just proves you can't trust anyone...genuine mistake or not.

something fishy going on at asda they did the same to my mate when the mackerel was on offer!!!

Naa, it was online shopping, all you do is sign the guys PDA at the door, then when you unpack the shopping you check it off the list that they provide. it was then that we noticed the error
