Girls I have really thick hair, anyone know where I can get some decent kirby grips that will stay in and hold? Don't mind paying a bit extra if they're going to do the job. TIA

Ask your local hairdresser's to sell you some of theirs. I had the best ones I've ever found from mine for pennies.

Might be a stupid question here, but are you using them the right way up? For years I used them bumpy side up, but they should be used bumpy side down...I'm not the only one that did it though so I feel less embarrassed by being downright thick if everyone else already knew this bit of info!!

Phew...I'm not alone then! Once I found out it was like a revelation...they're so much easier to put in when you use em right!

Boots for me. I am always suckered into buying massive packets of cheap ones in pound shops and the like and they are without fail totally shit and just bend when confronted with taming my mane. Boots ones rock!

And I still use them bumpy side up although I've heard the other way is better. It just feels weird!

Ladies, I have the thickest hair ever, but if you just back comb a little you only need 3 cheap clips, easier if you use got2be powder x

Ah man! I miss my hair bands now and my pony tails. Ah, the good times with shoulder length hair!

...growing it again though.

Boots are ideal.

I've always used them bumpy side down, but always seemed to be the only one that does so! Boots have good hair pins.

I think so. I had a work thing last night and counted 18 of the little buggers when I took my hair down later.
