Ever wish you could wake up and re start the day over?

Spent a fair amount of my holiday spending money on non essential stuff in preperation for the mini break away, then went n reversed into a vehicle..

urghhh

Don't stress about the car too much, insurance will sort it x my dad scuffed my car yesterday...he felt so guilty he finally started my wallpapering today lol

Going Butlins on Monday.. so cant wait for it. Last chance for a 'holiday' on the cheap.

I reversed into a jeep.. dented my bumper and made the same sized dent in the jeep. I pulled back into the parking space, took a few mins to stop crying.. got out to go look for the driver to see the Jeep drive off ..

luckily i noted the company it belonged too, phoned the boss (he wasnt aware of the accident so his driver hadnt noticed) Told me to calm down and for it not to ruin my night, he'd have a look in the morning and as long as its road worthy he isnt too precious with his work vehicles and he'd not pursue anything. He thanked me for being honest and we exchanged details.

lol @ the date ..

i was very lucky and yes the gent was so lighthearted about it all. i was in a right panic worried about having abuse hurled at me.

Little dings like that generally aren't worth bothering with for business vehicle owners. The mileage they accrue over the lifetime, they expect the odd bump n scrape. Their own drivers usually do worse damage over the course of the company owning/leasing it.

Don't let it drive you to distraction.

Think that fact that you rang him to tell him what had happened will have helped...I had a bump about a year ago in a works car, left my details on the windscreen etc. The guy bought me chocolates as a thank you for not just hitting his car and leaving it for him to foot the repair bill!

Was probably due to delayed concussion lol

Anyway hope yours doesn't come to anything and be proud that you're an honest and lovely person to make that call

The driver must have just missed seeing me reverse into the jeep,, as i pulled forward back into the parking space,, cried,, waited only a minute then as i was getting out he drove off.

Cant believe he didnt see the dent it was huge

if you hadnt of rung them you would have gotten away with it anyway with the driver just driving off

i had a lady driver not only hit the car nearly pushed me off the rd as she swung in from the right towards drivers side we both pulled over i lost a mirror and a loverly dent down the car asked if she was ok which she was gave her the option if she would like to exchange insurance details or let it go for bump for bump

the lady let it go for bump for bump at the time and after asking agai if she was ok we both parted our seperate ways
