...Up on the Downs

A fab friend and I are thinking of a little weekend jaunt camping out on a beach somewhere in the south east. He has one haunt, but we wondered if any of you guys have a favourite isolated spot where you can pretty much guarantee to be left undisturbed overnight?

I'm quite partial to the idea of dunes myself......??

Obviously check tide times, as waking up surrounded in water would be no fun. Isolated could also mean more risky too.

East Sussex

How about Normans Bay? Unless there's an all night fishing competition you'd be almost guaranteed to be left alone. It is shingle though and not a streetlight to be had.
