i get this reaction alot because i am on here alot, even when i ant meet for lots of different reasons such as illness, family commitments etc

some people think that the only reason to log on here is to look for a meet that night, but i like coming on here for the banter in the forums as much as looking for sex.

i can imagine it is frustrating when someone says that they cant meet when you are horny buy hey-ho.

I have often made excuses rather than be blunt and tell them that they hit a lot of branches when they fell out of the ugly tree.

Thats not bad....wait until you get one or more meets organised, you turn up at the meeting place and they don't! Or you are ready to go to theirs and they text you to say they changed their minds at the last moment!

people have the right to go at whatever speed they feel comfortable at... so if that means kit off straight away then cool.... but if that also means talk talk talk, then that is fine as well..... different strokes for different folks

in fact I think that pressuring people if they are not comfortable yet is worse... and this thread in that respect does you not favours at all!!!!

it really does make you come across as pushy, and only considerate of the pace you want to go at, out fly the "timewaster" accusations.....

Impatience is one of the biggest problems with arranging on line meets or discouraging them. I have on occasion had to say to people i am not interested right now as i have lots of meets. Saying try mail me in 3 months is about the worst response i have used so far. You get all sorts sent back at you

You can never prepare for the unexpected, after arranging a meet, and confirming prior to leaving home all was OK with the couple, an hour into our journey, we received a text from them stating they we're “Newbies” and couldn't go through with the meet!!

That would seriously piss me off. They should at least have had the courtesy to meet up, you could have had an absolutely no-strings social meeting, a drink and chat, all fully clothed with no pressure. If they still were too nervous after that, fair enough, but you aren't going to jump on them in the pub and demand some action right there are you? (Or maybe you would, who knows....?)

People like that tend to piss other people about too, before disappearing and then reappearing again with another profile, to piss more people about. They like the nervous naughtiness of it all, the butterflies, but they never actually take the plunge - a plunge which after all, may seem of earth-shattering importance, but is really no big deal, mountains don't move and the sky doesn't fall in. And since when has anyone been obliged to do anything they don't want to, for whatever reason?

Anyone can change their mind, that's fair enough, but after you've left home to meet them and before they've actually clapped eyes on you, that's low.

It seems however some people assume because you've signed up for a sex site you should be up for it 24/7!

Reading threads like this you wonder if some people pressurise people into meeting and they just don't feel comfortable.

I actually agree with you here - I, we don't seem to get time wasters - maybe it is because we ask to meet up socially first?

In the rare case where we feel people are not really into meeting and playing in person but more into chatting (to us that is not about timewasting, it is just a different form of enjoyment of the site)

we chat to them for a bit and then it tends to fizzle out.

Being totally honest this hobby scares us… just a little, it’s the trepidation of meeting new people for the first time with sex being the key subject. If a time comes when we don’t get the thrill of a new meeting chances are we’ll give it up. That said, with a regular play-mate we still get the trepidation, fluctuating nerves etc. but that is because of excitement of a different kind

As a couple, regardless of the swinging hobby we have a resolve that means if we agree to something with someone then we damn well do it. If it wasn’t for that fact we too may never have ever made it to a first meeting. Given that we are good to our word we DO get there and then of course everything is fine.

Its quite a tall order to ‘in the cold light of day’ go meet people with a view to having sex with them, its no wonder at all that many people do get cold feet last minute and pull out.

We always chat for a long as we feel necessary before agreeing to meet, often the extra bit of chat exposes something we don’t want and if it doesn’t it just makes any pending meet for sex play better.

We are a ‘Real Deal’ as any of our playmates would tell you but on the other hand, anyone who chooses to THINK we are time wasters… TOUGH, that’s their loss.
