I moisturise my legs and especially my knees every chance I get using Vaseline Alo fresh but I still have dry dark knees.

Fair enough I work on a building site in shorts but I so want lovely knees.

Any trade secrets ladies?

If you have building site knees I'm guessing they are pretty tough? Try a pumice stone, with a body scrub

Lol. They're not bad enough to need sanding down. They just need something a bit extra and moisturiser doesn't seem to quite cut it.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

Do you use body exfoliant on them prior to moisturising?

Do you bath or shower?

Soaking in the bath for a while and using a body scrub in the bath/shower might help.

I shower twice a day and body scrub weekly.

I shall try each of the suggested things and see how they do. I might give the plaster a miss though. Tbh; it's probably plaster dust that's half the problem!!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Exfoliate, exfoliate, exfoliate. Then slap on the cocoa butter. And get off your knees!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Try lots of moisturiser and wrapping your knees in clingfilm at bedtime.

But the Number Seven microdermabrasion body exfoliator it's about eleven quid, use it twice a week follow up with a moisturising face mask and moisturise morning and night with Palmers cocoa butter.

It's horribly expensive but try Elizabeth Arden eight hour cream, it's sometimes on offer in savers behind the counter. It's quite greasy but it works,it might even give you a bit of protection while your working, and as the others have said lots of exfoliating!!

A bunch of schoolgirls got on my tube this morning and I noticed one of them had really old looking knees. Perhaps you just have old knees.

Cement dust wrecked hubby's hands. He saw a dermatologist and was told to use plain old neutrogena. It works. Great for elbows, knees and heels as well
