But had to check that my train tickets were in the exact same cupboard that I left them in 2 weeks ago

Doubt someone would break in to steal them, but I had to really make sure that no one had

I do the same with concert tickets ! On my way to the venue - I know they're in my bag . I've checked 10 times , but I'll still check for the 11th time ! Which is completely illogical !

Id like to know how you can be so sure that you dont. Unless a house mate told you so, you could be blissfully unaware. Install expensive cctv that is motion detecting just to be on the safe side or employ a night watchman.
