Buy some art. Or anything that you wouldn't normally buy that keeps value, so when you've got less money one day, you can get reminders of having it

£300 isn't a lot really, fair bit less than the uk average weekly wage, so I'm sure you're not attention seeking. Although maybe you're lacking ideas on what to spend it on, strange.

I'd donate it if you don't need it - just make sure you get your money's worth.

If its cash you don't know what to do with - give it to a local small charity... a food bank, a family centre, a disabled support charity. Might not be much to you but can make the world of difference to a lot of people.

It is a european flight cost and perhaps a bit left for hotels. Have a quick get away planned. Or invest in club membership and going out. You know your interests and pleasures, so focus on them. If you have nothing for emergencies, save it.

Yes i am as when i do go out its not just me im paying for i take my sister brother mother father myself the people that were there when i was at my low point in my life the ones that were there when i lost everything the onse that got me back to where i am now and i only go out once in a blue moon for meals of shows concerts as dont go clubing as dont drink

I wouldn't say negative so much but it's a daft question to ask as we don't know you or what you like so how can we tell you what to spend £300 on. It does come across as bragging a bit tbh. I might not be but does seem that way.

Negative stuff? People just see it as boastful. If i had £300 spare, I'd spoil my weeman (5 yr old) to a fun break away somewhere. Sadly as a single mum, thats not possible (even though I do work)

My mrs earns £61 a week looking after her mum 24 -7 , well below min wage and I work full time plus overtime and at the end of the month we are lucky to have 300 pence over but at least we are happy and make the most of what little we have . Wouldn't change anything if it meant we were not happy . Enjoy spending it the way it makes you happy

Consider the possibility that there will be some people in the forum who are struggling on low paid work and high bills. The last thing they wanna read about is someone who can just go out and blow £300 without guilt. That would go a long way to a family on a low income so try to be a little more sensitive with your money posts.

Save it, you might not need anything now but you never know whats around the next bend, Its a struggle for me but i have a standing order of £25 a week go into my credit union savings it don't sound much but it adds up at the end of the year and if anything breaks like washing machine if i can't fix it i can buy a new one
