free half day spa

Had a text earlier in the week saying I'd eon a free half day spa session which I thought was odd as o didn't remember entering a competition for one lol

Checked it out online, the website looked legit, checked some review sites and all looked good, the number on the text was the same as on the website etc so I tang up to see what was going on.

Turns out the company put their marketing budget into free spa sessions as they believe word of mouth is the best publicity. It's all totally free (unless you want to buy any pics, which are overly priced ad always) and you get an hour of treatments, an hour of hair and make up, time with a professional photographer and an afternoon tea with bubbly.

Luckily both my mum and myself are off on my birthday and they had space available that day so we are having a lovely day together....can't wait

i did something similar with Double Take Studio's in Southampton.. they really press to buy the photographs after. £750 later..

biggest waste of money ever.. meh

I had one of those free photo shoot thingys. They realised I wouldn't but a picture when I said, on seeing them 'Christ I look like my Mum!'

Nice way to spend time but not worth paying extra.

I won't be buying the pics but it's worth going through the sales pitch for a free spa and makeover lol

I had a photochromic a couple of years ago and did end up buying some pics but it was only £50

could have done with the facial after the make over,, the amount of make up they troweled onto my face was just crazy.

was a great day out but id not want another one.

It is lovely if the spa is the right one for you etc. Id prefer to get the right model shoot package with photos at the right non ripoff prices, and treat myself to a spa at the right place. Im a bit too picky though, and would grab it if I could stand pressure sales tactics.

I'm a believer if ya get what ya pay for. If you get pampered have a lovely day, genuinely like the pics, then your kinda giving the spa etc a tip n paying normal price for some great pics. Either way everyone is a winner. Surely the marketing alone, has that proven by this thread.

I wasn't having a go, end of the day google is around now and won't take long if people want to do it to. Chapel spa are doing something too.
