Breaking rules

what was the first time in your life when you broke rules?

There are probably more "rebellious" people amongst swingers as the lifestyle can be seen as a bit unconventional - so what was your first thought (and action) of going against the majority?

evesham

me and my mates used to nick sweets from our village shop, till my dad found out.

he bundled me and my sister in the car and started driving towards the town telling us he was going to take us to the police station!!!

So we sang like little birdies and had to hand over all of our pocket money for a month to the owner of the shop

Staying out all night at a youth club sponsered disco (danced all night ) even though my mum had said I couldn't go. Luckily I'd told her about it a few weeks before it took place and didn't mention it again once she'd said no...so when the night came, I said I was having a sleep-over at one of my mates

my sister and I nicked some money from my mum's purse and then went to the shop to buy sweets...we thought we were being clever by cycling to a shop on the other side of town instead of going to the one up the road...what we did not know was that mum saw us take the money, and they followed us so when we walked out of the shop with our bags of sweets mum and dad were stood there right outside...oops!! lol

Did all the usual breaking of rules as a child and got away with some and not others. Think the first serious questioning of rules happened when I went to collage in 96 and started going on demos - Dockers was the first and the most recent been the Fat Cats (banks) one last year. Now have a much more fluid concept of what “rules” are and their arbitrary value within society.

I can so relate to that - some "rules" bear no meaning , make no sense and it is almost a sense of duty to break them especially if this benefits people - other rules need to be adhered to for the same purpose to protect people, prevent anarchy and stabilise a society, is this what you are referring to?.

'Collage' obvously didn't teach you how to spell. Maybe if you'd spent more time in 'Collage' and less time on demos .....

Your right it didn’t - what it did do however is give me the confidence to stand up for myself. I am dyslexic and don’t "see" the correct word even with spell check, but even I see the amusing side to this one as I now work for a university

Best mistake I made with the aid of spell check was having witches and pubic in an essay instead of which and public – entertained the tutor no end, think I got better marks for the piece of work than otherwise deserved.

i was a very well behaved young lady till i was introduced my ex to the life style. the first i broke the rules so to speak was when we got a little heated in the middle of summer and we were in a park in the middle of the day walking our dogs and as i had a very long flowy skirt on and he had loose shorts on was able to have some naughty fun and no one could tell
