I'm in Berlin on business next week, anyone know of a decent club. I've checked online and the couple I've seen look,really seedy

Do you have a Brother called Drew?

Anyway, its not swinging related but I found Berlin to be a stunning place, very grey and lots of skin heads with dogs but if you get the chance visit the train station and buy a kebab

Head for the Jewish quarter behind and between Alexandraplaz and Friedrichstraza

very bohemian and wonderful night life...

Or if you want something a bit more english head for the Irish bar in the Europa Centre on Tirergartenstraze near the Tiergarten.

there used to be a fantastic club in a house just over the bridge going on to Insel der Jugend in Treptower Park but not been there since 2001 so may be gone now.

The cabaret scene in the early 30's looks fantastic. I daresay it's not what it used to be, though.
