Advice on nipple and clit piercing.

Hi.

Can any ladies tell me what you look for in a person who does piercing please.

Roughly how much pain was caused by the different types of piercing too (hopefully you never had it done all at once).

Did anyone have any complications through a piercing too?

Lastly but more importantly, how long if at all did the piercing stop play.

I've had my clit hood pierced twice. Not too painful (lasts seconds). Didn't let him near it for a week. But 2 weeks later we had a meet with another couple x

A piercing (obviously) causes a puncture to skin and tissue. This creates an opportunity for bacteria to cause an infection. So in the case of intimate piercings, sex with strangers should not take place until the wound is fully healed.

How long that takes depends on the placement and length of the piercing. Whatever the case your looking at weeks not days and months not weeks to be sure its fully healed. I might 'look' healed on the outside, but it has to heal on the inside.

Typically the most intense piercings are nipples. Even so, its possible not to hit a nerve. But it can also happen that nerves are hit spot-on that can result with pain flooding the whole chest, shoulder and arm.

Human genital areas 'feel' very sensitive so everyone tends to expect a genital piercing to be VERY painful. However, the genital areas are more sensitive because the nerve ends are much closer to the surface and of much lower density than your finger tips for example.

The upshot of that is, its not likely to be anything like as painful as you might imagine and in the worst case the pain will only last a few seconds.

No doubt some women have had their hood pierced at lunchtime and then gone for a gang-bang in the afternoon, and had no problems at all, they have been VERY lucky. Otherwise you might say no oral sex or sex with strangers for a couple of months.

I have my nippy done... the actual piercing it self didnt really hurt, I didnt use any numbing agents or anything, however, I was shitting myself and my adrenaline took over I think... saying that the next day I felt as if my whole breastical was going to drop off

My ex had both done, the clit hood was relatively painless and was "useable" within a week. The nips were out of bounds for considerably longer

My clit hood was the easiest piercing I've had done. Was quick, painless and I was back in action after a week. Although was told to abstain for 2 weeks.

Had both my nipples done at the same time. The worse piercings I've ever had. Neither healed at all, 1 had to come out after 6 months after it became infected and I ended up in hospital being pumped full of antibiotics. The other came out 3 months later after that started to become infected, luckily I caught that one sooner.

See if piercer has a website or Facebook page with testimonials on it; contact the people and check all was ok with piercer. At the studio check health and hygiene certificates and ask to see their qualification certificate - should be displayed anyway.

Nipple piercing doesn't hurt any more than a nipple clamp. Its a sharp quick pain and gone. Try not to wear a bra for first few weeks so its not being pressed on. Get a small pump bottle and fill it with sterile water and seasalt. Use as often as you need but at least 3 times a day. If your hot and sweaty obviously a lot more. Nips wear only a no go for two weeks; after that make sure you clean after any contact for 3/4 months. Can take a year to fully heal and expect the odd crusties (mother nature seems to bring them).

Pain whilst having piercings done is subjective depending on the person. I've had both done and found the VCH more painful than my other 12 piercings, although it only lasted for a couple of seconds and don't regret it nor have I had any problems, but found wearing a ring rather and a bar much better. Also, they do advise to abstain for sex for at least 2 weeks.

The nipples I haven't had any problems either and only felt a 'soreness' whilst it was being done, however, in one of the nipples, she did hit a nerve and even now after 12 months, I occasionally get the odd pain in the breast, but not for very long. I was advised to do the sea salt baths twice a day, wear a padded bra and avoid the ones with a seam which runs across the middle of the cup. I've had no infections, crusties, rejections/migrations, etc. Would I do it again? Yes I would, because they look so lovely and partner loves them too.

I found my piercer via friends. Quite a few had been to her in Bristol, and all said how good she was. I had both my nipples pierced and there was a little pain, no blood and it didn't stop play @ all. I've been really lucky that there hasn't ever been any bad after effects

I had my hood and nipples pierced all at the same time in my lunch break about 7 weeks ago.

Haven't had any problems with them, and love them. Wasn't painfull at all
