Jokes repeating, still funny?

There's been a few times in recent weeks when the same jokes get emailed to me which got me thinking, just how many times have you read the same joke or heard the same catch phrase to a point that your just fed up of people sending them to you, I've just read one particular joke that i think I first saw back in the early 00s, it wasn't funny then either, so when did you first hear a joke and how long/often was it till you saw it again?

Those joke text/email things get right on my moobs! Around 0.00000000001% might be moderately amusing, but the vast majority are utter utter shite.

I used the official fab forum statistic monitor to glean my information, so don't dare argue the toss.

its worse when some one famous dies, the amount of jokes I got when Jeremy Beadle died was just stupid, and it was within 24 hours of his death too, some very insensitive people around

If you told me that Orange and Vodafone have a team of guys who get the first sick jokes out after every tragedy, I'd probably believe you. How many Haiti earthquake or Michael Jackson jokes did you get? I got stacks, often repeats, from loads of people I know, Orange were making a packet out of all that traffic.

Yeah I think the phone companies start them off too .......look at the money they make out of all those text !!

No doubt there will be "jokes " going round tommorow about todays tragedy, but thats what happens, you can't stop people doing it......and I would be very surprised if people can say hand on heart that they have never laughed at a sick joke before now?

just had my first txt joke regarding yesterdays events and I just bollocked the person who sent it

worst repeated joke is when someone is playing 'like a virgin' and the bar explodes with "bullshit" and then laugh...seriously, how old is that song? how much more will we endure?!
