Can anyone share any light on what looks like a bullett hole in the glass just behind the BBC presenters?

I say BBC but could well be ITV - whoever was doing the Holland v Strayer game.

The main man usually sits on his own and its just to the left of his head.

Yes on the opening night of the world cup when all the protests and demonstrations were still going on someone down on the beach threw a rock at the Pane of Glass (either threw it or used a catapult?). As you said the chip where the rock hit can clearly be seen behind the pundits head when they are doing pre match, half time an post match analysis.

I wonder if it is bullet proof glass though?

Gutted Spain have gone but delighted for Chile, Gary Medel more than anyone.

Great sweeper but plays CM for Cardiff.

Id play him sweeper.

Spain were shit but all they had to do was take the chances.

its gonna hinge on which Uruguay turn up. If it's the same one that played Costa Rica then 2-1 victory.

If the other Uruguay turn up, the cheating, diving Suarez inspired side, then we could be in trouble and can see a 2-0 defeat.

A draw is useless so I'd hope England would risk losing in order to be attacking to try and win.

Suarez can't be fit he was struggling at the end of the season. Pretty sure he would have come on in the last game if he was.

Spain have no energy or pace in the side. Del Bosque is picking players based on sentimental reasons. The Barca players have all had a terrible seasons except Alba.

However they have some great players coming through for the Euro's.

I think Spains downfall was down to their success.

As the pudits mentioned France and Italy have recently won the WC only to go straight out in the opening rounds next tournament.

Non WC lovers might not know that if you host a tourament you dont need to qualify for it, so when everyone else is playing competative WC qualifying matches, Spain were probably playing money raising friendlies. Not always for their own pockets.
