"I can sympathize with some men who are in this situation.. YES its a womans body and im all for choice, but if the man really wants nothing to do with a child i think if he has requested she terminates then i think there should be a legal form for him to sign that he takes no responsibility financially for that child. They created a life together, but is it fair for a man to be held accountable financially for a life he never wanted. People do make mistakes. " I know a guy who begged the girl he was seeing to take her implant out and try for a baby. She waited six months then agreed. About 3 months later she fell pregnant and then he became abusive and was drinking a lot. So she threw him out. She was 13 weeks pregnant at this time and he told her to have an abortion and she said no (she's already had her first scan and everything by this point) so now he doesn't want the kid but I don't think that means that he should be exempt from responsibility.

"The woman wanted abortion but the man said no and the doc said its up to the woman if she keeps it or not and not up to the man. so what I think is, we men are just to hand over moneis each months to support and got owt to say to keep it? Whats your view on all this that the woman can decide and not the man?." If you don't want the responsibility (financial or otherwise) of a child then don't get yourself in that situation. Condoms etc are easy enough to use. I know blokes that have been caught out on one night stands by not using a condom and believing the girl is on the pill. If they took responsibility for themselves and didn't take the word of someone they don't know then it wouldn't be a problem. (Not condoning the women who lied by the way by the end result could be avoided)

"if the man don't want that risk he should wrap it its the womans choice And what if he does wrap it or she uses contraception but they still get pregnant?" To fall pregnant if you've taken precautions is awful. I fell pregnant on the pill.

I would feel more sympathy if the guy said don't abort I will sign papers and bring it up solo, rather than comment about the cost of it.

"It's easy for a man to sit there and say they should have a choice in whether or not a termination goes ahead but it is not them that has to go through it. Pregnancy and child birth can have complications that are life lasting. Why would/should a woman put her body through that for a child she does not want? I agree it is not fair on a man that wants a child but ultimately the choice will lie with the woman. " But what about a man that took protection, wore a condom and openly says he does not want a child. Why is it OK for the woman to hold him to ransom when it was her decision to keep it against his wishes? I agree it takes two totango but it seems it just takes one to make a life changing decision.

"oh i watched that, the woman had mental health problems, didnt say what she decided in the end, i think she may have changed her mind. he seemed like a nice bloke but it might of been better for the kid if she didnt keep it." Yes it didn't say what, cos her mom I think was a guard in ww2 she didn't want her baby to be asosiated from it, its how I figured it .

" Then I think the woman should face the fact she will be doing it alone. You can't force somebody to be a dad and to provide and his intentions were clear from the start.
