No! Because its dumb!

hint next time you go to a casino put your stake in 1 pocket and your winnings in another when you have lost your stake cash in your winnings and leave. You will get all the rush from gambling and unless your very unlucky walk away with at least some money.

Been a few times the friend I was with used to give me chips we never went mad and he kept his winnings as long as you limit what you spend and know when to walk away it can be a great evening .

A short holiday for example.

I have never gambled, probably because I've never had the money to gamble, or the tits to get money from others to gamble. I would say as long as the OP had fun then all is fine but it doesn't sound like he did.

Played the casino's in Vegas and set myself a stake and once that was hit would walk away. Had a guy next to me in the black jack table could not speak a word of english and didn't seem to understand the rules and he lost $2000 in about 30 mins.

If I ever gamble it is when I go to Sherringham for the day and use the 2p falls in the arcades. I don't mind attempting to lose my shirt on those

I've been in casinos a few times in past...always limit myself to £50 stake...sometimes I come out with fuck all after half an hour, other times I've had a good few hours and come out with a bit more than I went in with...the most I remember was being about £200 in profit. Yeah, it's annoying (for me) to lose your stake but that's gambling and if it's just for pleasure (ie you can bear the loss) then no harm done as far as I see it

I met a service engineer that repaired fruit machines, the pay outs are set somewhere between 75 - 80%

The average take out of the machines care to guess,?

.

.

Less than 10% because like the op the players put the winnings back in and some more,

I would never be tempted to gamble money in such a way.... It just goes against everything about my outlook on life.

But I can understand the rush gamblers seem to thrive on.

Some rich texan was in a casino many years ago. He was going on and on about how rich he was... Kerry Packer walked up to him and said "Flip you for it." The texan shut up after that.... If you don't know who Kerry Packer is, Google is your friend....

You walked in with £400

You walked out £400 lighter

How ever much you were up or down in the meantime counts for nothing unless you walk away with it.

Gambling in casinos is not about winning, it's about how long you can make your stake last.

You lost £400

I have seen this happens loads when I was working in a Casino as a croupier.

The secret is to only gamble what you can afford to lose.

Better luck next time.

The 400 i could afford to loose .

i look at it this way if you cant afford to loose what stake you have set for yourself dont go in to the casino.

We went to a casino for a little part of my birthday last year, was good fun and we doubled our money. A whole £10 became £20. But we walked away. We had a good night, went to a very posh club, casino, a 70's/80's disco and then to a lap dancing club, before heading back to our hotel via a late night chippy. We even found £5!

be quicker than losing it and you may walk away feeling pretty good about yourself..

You lost £400, that's what the nights entertainment cost you... some would say not bad. I stopped gambling when went out with my employer and saw him lose an actual £40,000 in one night (along with any winnings he made along the way)
