How often do you read peoples forum contributions/profiles on here, and wonder what their voice sounds like?

Titz Towers, North Notts

Quite a lot of the time. I'll sometimes read it in the voice of people who I've met a few times. Such as one lass, who I shan't name in case my toaster blows up, she has a really rich and fruity voice and it's hard not to read her posts in that style. However, one whose posts I read in a Scottish accent I now have to read in a Norfolk one instead, after meeting.

No can't say that I do.....

I am more likely to wonder what they look like.

I'm imagining you sound like Angie Watts from Eastenders.

Sometimes do have an accent going on in my head (like maybe Geordie or cockney depending on where contributor is from)

Voices can be so misleading tho.....was in pub at a social a while back. Got a message on site giving me a number to call from a "woman"( term used loosely ). So we did....voice sounded great...young, sexy.... We gave her our location etc... She turned up claiming to be mid 40's but looked like well into 60's and rough as a bears arse (described variously by other fabbers there as "munter", "elephant", and "Jesus, what was that" - women can be so cruel)

Just goes to show you can't rely on a voice!

Sometimes I do depends on who has posted ~ I always read Keens post in a Scottish accent & the Welsh contingent in a Stacey one (aka Gavin & Stacey)

funny you should say that, a man I have been seeing said he was surprised by my accent when we first spoke on the phone. I think he expected either Angie Watts or someone from TOWIE. I'm a cross between the two I think

I always wonder what someone's voice sound like. I spent ages on the phone at work the other day, talking to a Scottish guy, purely because I was enjoying listening to his accent.

I'm rubbish at hearing voices in my head. I've spoken to a couple of people who used to be on here as well as meeting them and they have sounded incredibly sexy but nothing like I imagined. So I now like the voice to be a surprise!

A beautiful sounding voice can be a real turn on and there is always a certain level of anticipation on a meet as you generally know what they look like but not how they'll sound.

But no, I always read in my mind's own accent

"A beautiful sounding voice can be a real turn on and there is always a certain level of anticipation on a meet as you generally know what they look like but not how they'll sound."

Phone calls prior to meeting can be great ice breakers for that very reason, but more importantly because you can get a good feel for how well you'll get on with a person prior to meeting them - mind though, I haven't done pre meet phone calls in years.
