"Started running about two months ago so the cardio improves as well as doing the gym work! Wanna test to see if it's improved my sexual stamina! People think 3.6miles in half hr is decent? " That's a good time. 5k (3.1 miles) is a good distance to measure yourself against and see if you're improving. I've run for years - I think it's the sight of my female running colleagues looking lovely in lycra that keeps me going.

I take considerably longer. Never said anything about kmh or mph

"What time of day are you running? would advise against running first thing in the morning as its the worst thing for your joints and tendons. When was in the army they switched from early morning runs to just before midday meal, apparently all muscles and tendons are relaxed as you sleep and need at least 2 hours to tighten up and stabilise joints correctly otherwise damage occurs which will make itself known in later life. P.S. basic fitness time for 3 miles in the army was based on age, everyone gets 15 minutes for the first 1.5 miles and for 16-25 years old its 12 min for the final 3 miles which is increased as you get older." Ah I only have time to run in morn unless it's a sexercise run that would be something I'd make time for

"Was just going to ask something similar I have just done 5.57km in 53.39min av pace 9.38km/hour Power walk and jog What do you think ? First time at it " I think your numbers/ math is slightly wrong 5.57 km in 53 minutes is about 6 km/h unless that was miles in 53 minutes ? For anyone starting to run I'd suggest sitting out a good running plan/ schedule. There are plenty of apps for smartphones out there, but I use Adidas Micoach. It'll take through a first effort, having never run before to programs for 2hr 30 mins marathons

"Also considering the Wimbledon half marathon next year, simply because the medal is a Womble!" Wonder who you got that idea from! The running group I'm a member of on FB have got a load of people running it later this year (there's a series of 3) just for the medal!
