Well for starters make your profile more appealing, lose the whiny status. It smacks of desperation. Look for local social events or go to a club. And you're not seriously expecting us all to believe that there's nobody in Telford that meets. Instead of waiting for things to happen. Give yourself a chance by being proactive.

We went to Telford on a geography trip from school. Stool in a precinct, doing surveys supposedly studying a 'new town '.

It was closed down and dull then.
