Money grabbing pricks!! Just got a text from some Odori Tech Ltd saying I've subscribed to £4.50 A WEEK access to the most beautiful girls on the net!! Obviously I've replied STOP!!

I've never heard of or have the inclination to even pay for porn on the net! Worried I check the internet on my phone and hey presto youporn crops up. Must've been a blind link from my workout this morning and accidentally clicked something while it was in my pocket. Whatever.

Having consulted with myself I've decided a daily clear up of web history and cookies are in order and to make sure my damn phone is switched off before it goes back into the abyss (my pocket).

Lesson learned - but be warned!!

I think the biggest lesson you will learn today is - Never reply STOP to a spam text.

They now know it is a valid mobile number and will sell your details on. Don't be surprised if you get shit loads of them now.

It's cool. I rang up my mobile provider and they've blocked all premium texts for me and I'm getting my £4.50 back.

Fingers crossed it's sorted!!

yumsville

they are so dangerous those subscription messages.

I used to work for 02 and there would be constant calls about them. People would try to avoid them by not topping up their phone, but they would still be getting the text messages. Unless you reply stop, the next time you top up, the messages you've received will just debit and debit the money off your phone - effectively catching up with itself
