is boris johnson clairvoyant?

he has bought 3 water cannon vehicles from germany. now, as they have never been approved for use in the uk (mainland), is he privy to info that tells him a law will be passed before it has even got to the house? He claims he had to buy them now, to get a good deal but if he isnt allowed to use them surely he has wasted taxpayers money? Are they expecting so much trouble on the streets that legislation will go through without much hindrance? Just what have they got planned that they envisage trouble? He has volunteered to be a test subject for the water cannon. If so, can he do it without any safety equipment, as the people that will be on the recieving end wont have any. And can Ken Livingstone aim it? It might even help to ease tensions!

Glad they have been got! Being in very close proximity to the riots/ looting here in Lodon when they happened , yeap would rather they had em , than for similar to happen and the ' powers that be' (after the event ) say opps!

We should have had em! Lol ( like they did last time!)

As for tax payers money , what about all the police man power , the clear up after , not to mention the 1000's lost from shops and businesses?

I don't think he is in the know about anything, just a bit of forward thinking in my opinion. No good shutting the door after the horse has bolted... Go Boris! Lol

Good, because seeing the shit from a few years back we need something. And to give the Police more robust powers under those circumstances. And bring in the rubber bullets.

Protesting is not looting and bringing hard working people's lives to a shuddering stop.

The man is pure genius, ok it might not be past into law, but do you really expect that gobby little shite who was lobbing bricks in the riot to be even able spell his own name cause he always was bunking off school!

And our Boris ain't daft, park it at a football match, it will soon calm the situation, likewise when the European teams come over. English fans have had it rough for too long and rarely start any trouble now.

Plus with how often fire brigade are out on strike he can use that as a spare.

He needs to walk outside and look at the big boobies on the statues.

Water cannons will be difficult in London. We have lots of funny little streets that twist and turn. The spread of the riots in 2011 would have had the cannons spending most of the time driving between boroughs deciding which bit to hose.

Boris promised that London would never have water cannons on his watch and now he's got Theresa May and David Cameron bickering. That's handy for a putting himself in the frame as the next leader.
