I would be more inclined to be judgemental of the person doing the blocking of someone else who reads whatever paper etc..

we may all differ on certain issue's on the forums but blocking because of those opinions (whilst recognising its only a tool of the site) seems a tad 'hissy fit'..

We all judge, if we didn't nobody would make any informed choices about anything. I judge all the time, I wouldn't get through my day if I didn't. I make a judgement every time I cross the road, I judge the speed of the oncoming vehicles. We make judgements based on our knowledge and previous experience. So if that experience has been that blue collar workers are less likely to be intelligent and erudite then you would exercise that judgement in future. Sometimes people go against the grain, they buck the trend, but then sometimes the bus is going a lot slower than I thought as well, but I would still be cautious and wait until it has passed

All sorts of things in various ways, but not consciously.

I form opinions of people based on a lot of factors. It partly depends on the circumstances in which I'm meeting them. The factors I'll assess someone I have to work with will differ from those that apply when I'm deciding if I want to shag someone, for example.
