WORCESTERSHIRE

a young toddler is turfed of a bus in england as the polish bus driver is offended by the fact the youngster is wearing....wait for it....an england football shirt!,not wearing a gun holster with a magnum gun in it,nor carrying an ak47 rifle but wearing an england football shirt to show support for england in the forthcoming world cup!.

an england fan wearing an england soccer shirt(who as an englisman or woman is not a fan of english sports teams or english sports men & women?)was stopped by a policeman in a patrol car in weymouth dorset(not russia, poland or czech republic)and told to remove the offending soccer shirt!.

the dorset police force have not yet explained how an england soccer jersey worn by an englishwoman in england can possibly be offensive to anybody!,the soccer top is freely available in high street sport shops.

arent our police force wonderfools?.

Sorry but total rubbish......no policeman would have told you that because he can only act within the law of the land....

And IT IS NOT illegal to fly the flag of St George in England and Wales....

Go into any town or city centre and you are beginning to see thousands of St George flags and buntings flying and being hung up all over the front of pubs.

So go to the police station and report that policeman, what he (supposedly) told you is total rubbish.

Why is it that people talk so much crap?

Polish people have intergrated into the UK very well, they have come here to work and live in the community. They have no religious axe to grind....just why would a Polish bus driver refuse a toddler wearing an England shirt?

I am amazed that people can be so stupid to believe all this Right wing crap.

my next door neighbour works at the local first bus garage(newcastle under lyme)where this polish driver works,he refused the toddler and his mother because the shirt offended him,He has since been suspended from work awaiting to be dealt with,as first bus decide what to do with him.To diffuse the situation around stoke on trent first buses are now running around with SUPPORT ENGLAND banners on them.

the local paper has been full of this story for about two weeks.and not one local resident comes out in favour with this polish man.it is totally wrong what he has done,if he does not like england why work here.

It is absolutely true he was asked to take down the flags.

However it was NOT because they were England flags, or that the local authority was trying to interfere with his right to be English.

It was because the idiot had strung them over and across the public footpath, and not on his own premises.

It is disappointing when facts get in the way of a good story.

WORCESTERSHIRE

on st patricks day in b'ham city centre the irish are allowed to go into pubs & go to work wearing shamrock but when st georges day comes round english people are refused entry if they are wearing anything to do with st georgeie red roses, pin badges, tee-shirts or any english/st george identification and this is no spoof at all.

May of wrote it as if i'm saying it's illegal, never said that, what I ment as only wrote on the wall in brief is, the council frown upon you having flags outside as it may others, I was talking to a community police officer and brought it up and out his own mouth told me what I had heard from a friend
