What the one thing that scares the shit out of you but you really want to do it?

For me it socialising especially in large groups. It's the fear of rejection and humiliation.

Heights, been up CN Tower, Toronto, helicopters hot air balloons etc., wouldn't do any again!, people are all the same at the end of the day and life so I never worry about dealing with them in any way

Practice in smaller groups? It's not an uncommon fear but what would you be rejected from and how would you be humiliated?

Perhaps do things that are activity based and so the socialising is an add on.

The fear I had was falling love and being rejected. I doesn't worry me so much now as I know I am loveable and if I love them but they don't love me then we're not right for each other.

To meet people off here - but in an arena filled with enough hard bodied, good looking men with phallus's like bottle-nosed dolphins, I look in the mirror and decide not to - I honestly know I wouldn't measure up.

It's code, Lickety. It translates as 'steve is a tosser'. I got bored of self abuse so have decided on self verbal abuse as a sort of kinky change.

I feel the same about approaching women in person (as a stranger). I've been with lots of women through swinging, and am generally confident sexually, but its amazing how hard just that simple first approach truly is.

"Rejection. And the fear of trying new things "

You've been trying new things all of your life. If you haven't then I assume someone is still feeding you breast milk and changing your nappy.

Some new things are nice and some are nasty. Trust your instincts, knowledge and observations and it can be a relatively low risk activity.

Central

As a kid it dawned on me that nothing was stopping me but me. So I set myself dares and went out and did stuff. later, I was often nervous in public speaking, so developed my skills and experience and did it, whilst loving it. There are many ways to overcome your fears, some easy and others more complex. I dont like having barriers in front of me, so I smash them in my own way. If it is not important, then I put my attention elsewhere. Ive not had an easy life, but Ive had a load of fun and lots of surprises. Make your own rules and sex your own limits, if you insist on having any.
