Can't decide to have a vertical or horizontal piercing done.

Any ladies willing to provide guidance ??

Will it hurt. ??

Horizontal with a ball closure ring is normally quite good as the ball will rub on your clitoris when you move and provide an added turn on.

Whether you go for horizontal or vertical should be decided by your anatomy. Most women are suited to one or the other, not both.

Getting one that doesn't suit can cause it to migrate or reject, (I speak from personal experience).

I had mine done many years ago and was no worse than having your ears pierced, though i went for the ring style with the ball closure,

One thing i would advise if you get it is check with the piercer on the distance length of the piercing as this can make it difficult when buying new bars ect due to different sizes, and to also check he/she is qualified with hygiene certificate and all sterile. Oh and as ppl above has said it does heighten sexual play

Mine was absolutely fine. Healed in five days and didn't hurt (vertical piercing) and really enhances my pleasure but everyone is different.

From my experience (and no, i'm not saying that i have a clit) but with some it ruins the oral sex part of things. The clit gets too sensitive because of the piercing.

...me personally, i don't like that. Sometimes we both do get lost in the moment and it just ruins things when we have to stop for her to calm down.

I have a horizontal piercing with a bar. Didn't hurt and increased my sensitivity loads. That has worn off a little now, but still more sensitive then before.

My besr friend had hers done, she bled really bad and she was in pain for several days. But she loves it now.

Everyone is different.

Yes, I can't remember how long they advise though. 4 weeks? Many don't wait that long. It depends on how it's healing.

Mine was only sore for a few days but, of course, until it has healed there is an infection risk.

I had my hood pierced afew years ago. Started with a ball ring then changed to a bar. No it wasn't painful. If you have tattoo's this will be a walk in the park.

I have a vertical.. The place I went to in Liverpool used a numbing cream...

Didn't even know shed finished. Healed quickly... A walk in the park compared to my tongue piercing. Go for it.

I have a VCH and HCH piercing too. Did have my labia pierced multiple times too but they are taken out just now (got in the way in spinning classes) I love mine. They didn't hurt (but I have a high pain threshold) and have definitely made me more sensitive - the biggest perk for me - I get interesting vibrations at gigs - ace as I do gig reviews in my spare time

Had a vertical bar years ago. The actual piercing was just a pinch and it was over. One of the least painful piercing I've had and I have had quite a few. (hood, neck, nipples, tongue, navel, lip and multiple ear piercings) Don't have any know, but think it's time to get some back just dont think I can manage the 2 weeks no activity lol. It did increase the sensitivity, loved it.

I have a VCH, done 2 years ago now. I love it. Best thing I ever did. The pain was intense for about 3 seconds but it really has improved my sensitivity loads. I have much more intense orgasms and they are easier to achieve.

Mine did initially too, but I wore the pantyliner just in case and it did bleed again a couple of times. Not much at all though!

I had a VCH about 2 years ago. Male piercer no problems finding my clit

Small sharp pain as it was initially pierced but nothing deep breathing couldn't get me through. Make sure you have eaten something before you go. No bleeding but do follow all after care advice and do take a break from play as advised. Less issues than with my nipple and I love it. Just don't clamp your knees round the piercers head apparently it's quite common as he thanked me for not doing it. Just relax and enjoy the experience x
