I've seen them countless times, although I've not seen them since Schenker left the band..... but I've heard they are still an awesome live outfit... Shame about Pete Ways health issues though....

Whilst I appreciate some may not actually remember some of them, I don't, but got into their music in later years. Who was your fave artist/s from the 70s? "

"Saw zeppelin in 79 ,awsome" I (Jet) did too at Knebworth Park in Hertfordshire. £7.50 for the concert ticket and Zepp came on stage about 10pmish after a day of music by various different bands and played a 4 hour set if I remember right. Other favorites from that era include Pink Floyd, Genesis, Supertramp, Queen, Yes, Jethro Tull Blondie, Slade to name but a few. Still love all the 70's music actually even some of the punk stuff nowadays.

"fleetwood mac the eagles roxy music elton john david bowie supertramp abba madness specials gary numan t rex the jam led sep rod stewert elo the carpenters stevie wonder bee gees cat stevens the who pink floyd bob marley" What a great list Also worth a mention (although I wasn't too keen on most of their chart hits) would be Sweet who were really good live. I have one confession to make though. In those days at the end of rag week in Blackpool there used to be (maybe still is) what was called the arts ball. Every year a top band would be booked at the winter gardens and we saw some of the best bands of the time. Slade, Sweet, Carlos Santana to name just a few. One year a new band who had just got their first hit in the charts were appearing. We watched them for around 20 minutes and thought, "right bunch of one hit wonders these will turn out to be" and retired to the bar. The name of the band?... Queen
