Somewhere in North Norfolk

I recorded it at Christmas and finally watched it yesterday.

Great story, (meaning the true story it was based on), but the film was a bit unspectacular, I thought.

Anyone else finally got round to watching a film or listening to some music and felt a bit let down by it? Or found the opposite and enjoyed it more than you expected?

I was a bit "meh" about Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, even though I love Marilyn Monroe.

I enjoyed Guys and Dolls far more than I thought I would though.

I'm currently trying to decide if I can face a large room full of strange people so I can see the new X-Men film.

Catch me if you can - actually went to sleep in the cinema

Music wise :

Loved Plan B's first album

Listened to the 2nd album once and it went straight in the charity shop pile

I've recently acquired a load of new music. I think I could listen to new CDs end to end for a week and not repeat one.

I actually feel quite intimidated and haven't listened to any music at all for weeks!

It was said with emotion and felling

The film was ok even though they were a little economical with the truth as the british embassy played a important role in getting them out however in the film we turned them away, thats poetic license

I expect there were rather a lot of historical inaccuracies. Films of true stories are usually adjusted somewhat.

I think the actual story itself is better than the film. Not a bad film but it didn't do the story justice.

very true on all counts as the true story is never showbiz enough for hollywood
