And no, I won't be quoting it or hinting at it or who sent it.
I'm offended but it hasn't upset me (anyone who has met me will confirm that my self esteem Indy just bullet-proof, it's missile-proof  ) but it certainly takes the shine of the beginning of the week.

"A little sad as its my daughters birthday today. And its the first time in 23 years that iv never seen her on her birthday. I suppose it sunk in she has flown the nest "aww mine is 21 and is showing no sign of checking out from Hotel Dad in the near future... although I have missed several of her recent birthdays as from the age of 17 she tends to go on holiday with her mates to celebrate it as it is at the end of July | |||

I'd slept right through my alarm. I got there just 3 minutes late.
My blood pressure was 120/70, which is normal. It was slightly up, (still normal range but high for me), a few weeks ago so I'm relieved it's back down.
The appointment went swimmingly and I got sorted what I needed sorting. And I found I hadn't gained back the weight I lost earlier in the year, when I thought I had. I've not lost any more, (due to lack of consistency in terms of effort), but I've not regained any either.
So, positive so far, despite the shaky start.
It's warm and bright here, which always helps.
I have chores to do that I don't like but that's nothing new!
Pretty good as days go, so far, especially for a Monday. | |||
