I've just turned down a picnic with my daughter.

I'm too tired to drive to the supermarket to pick most of the stuff up for said picnic, look out our picnic quilt and rucksack and then make my way to hers.

A picnic sounds like a great idea! I'll bring some savoury nibbles like empanadas filled with chicken and chorizo, pulled pork and minced meat.

I don't mind putting up a gazebo as long as I have a turn at DJing

My favourite picnic was one we had in Harrogate a couple of years back.

It was Wimbledon finals day and they had erected a big screen on The Stray.

Great weather, big tartan blanket, ice coffees and cakes from Betties Tea Rooms. Bliss.
