Three young deer have met their maker this week on the lane near my house.

On three seperate days, not all at same time.

Saw one carcase being loaded into the back of a van last week too.

they are not bad, the kangaroos in OZ are like lemmings, they seem to be oblivious to traffic

Ross Noble does a great routine about this

Something along the lines of 10000 square miles of bugger all and the Kangaroos just stand next to the road, waiting for a Geordie comedian on a motorbike to come riding along before they jump out to say hello

Rabbits are bad for it too. Once had a rabbit zigzag in the road in front of me. I crawled along really slowly for miles because it wouldn't get out of my way and there was no way I would risk running it over.

Can anyone else remember Jasper Carrot doing the Insurance Claims routine?

This reminds me of: 'I had to swerve a number of times before I hit the pedestrian'
